When considering acupuncture for fertility support the general rule of rhumb is to begin preparing for an ICSI or IVF retrieval cycle at least 3 months in advance. It takes about 90 days, on average, for the full benefits of acupuncture treatments to be fully effective. However, no matter how far you are from or in a cycle, acupuncture will always be beneficial. If you start just before, or even during a cycle, acupuncture will improve blood flow to the ovaries and uterus. It will also help reduce stress and anxiety.
